Sigil is determined to eliminate any potential for cheats from the game. We can expect that any hacks or cheats used in the game will be grounds for a permanent ban and possibly character deletion.

Hacks distributed for MMORPGs also, often contain spyware, or other malicious software. When trying to hack an online game, it’s far more likely that the person distributing that software is hacking your computer, not the game server. Whether deleted by Sigil, or stolen by the hack distributor, attempting to hack an online game is the number one way people lose their accounts.
